Brogan & Partners celebrates Giving Tuesday 2024.

At Brogan & Partners, Giving Tuesday isn’t just a day. It’s a tradition we look forward to every year.

In 2014, we started honoring this global day of giving by asking our Facebook community to share the causes closest to their hearts, then randomly selecting several to support. And as a result, we’ve donated thousands of dollars to incredible organizations like St. Jude, Big Brothers Big Sisters, the Michigan Humane Society, Make-A-Wish America, Doctors Without Borders, and more.

Last year, however, CEO Ellyn Davidson added a more personal touch to the tradition, and it’s one we’re excited to continue. Once again, every member of the Brogan team was invited to choose a charity, and the agency is making a $150 donation to each.

See who Brogan is supporting.

This meaningful work perk not only celebrates the unique passions that inspire our team, but also empowers these organizations to create positive change — an essential part of our mission.

Here are the causes we’re proud to support in 2024:

  • American Indian College Fund: I choose to donate to the American Indian College Fund because I believe in the power of education to transform lives, especially for Native American youth who face unique challenges. – Katie Rehrauer, Partner, Director of Account Service
  • Michigan State Firemen’s Memorial: Earlier this year, my Uncle Trevor died unexpectedly at age 52, and it’s been an overwhelming loss for all who knew and loved him. Because he served his local fire department for 30+ years – from cadet to captain – his name was honorably etched into the Michigan State Firemen’s Memorial, and this donation will help preserve the park. – Kaitlynn Crane, Associate, Senior Copywriter
  • Sarcoma Foundation of America: I’m choosing the Sarcoma Foundation of America in honor of my husband, who was diagnosed with synovial sarcoma this past year. This cause is incredibly close to my heart, and I believe that supporting research is vital for finding better treatments and ultimately a cure for this very rare cancer. – Sarah Foley, Partner, Associate Creative Director
  • Friends of the Israeli Defense Force: As the war in Israel continues, the IDF’s need for supplies, humanitarian aid, medicine, medical equipment and more grows each day. This donation will support their efforts to free the hostages and make Israel the safe space for Jews it is intended to be. – Carly Schiff, Partner, Director of Web Experience
  • Michigan Animal Rescue League: This year, I wanted to support the MARL. It is where we adopted our orange tabby, Eloise, five years ago, and hopefully we can help other animals get the care they need and/or find their forever families. – Emily Wagner, Partner, Account Director and SEO Strategist

  • Sanctum House: As a volunteer resident advisor for Sanctum House, I have witnessed the tremendous love, healing and recovery nurtured by this sanctuary for human trafficking survivors. As Sanctum House continues to grow its healing campus and triple capacity, support is critical to help give more women the chance to regain their lives. – Julia Mastropaolo, Partner, Healthcare Director

  • Birmingham Education Foundation Back-to-School Campaign: BEF has a campaign going on right now to help grant money to my community’s teachers and school to fund some amazing things for our students. As a mom and a friend to many teachers, I realize more and more how important these funds are. – Lauren Zuzelski, Partner, Director of Account Service

The Glioblastoma Foundation supports drug therapy development to improve the quality of life and life expectancy of those affected. – Abigail Wilkins, Partner, Senior Copywriter

They also provide culturally specific peer support groups to self-identified survivors of rape and increase justice and visibility for survivors in southeast Michigan. – Erin Palmore, Associate, Art Director
  • Animal Welfare Society of Southeastern Michigan: My choice for Giving Tuesday is the Animal Welfare Society of Southeastern Michigan, in honor of my beloved Scout who we lost this year. • The Art of Living Free Schools: The Art of Living Free Schools provides free, holistic, value-based education to under-privileged children in rural, tribal and socioeconomically backward places in India.
