Organizing and analyzing complex marketing data might seem intimidating to some, especially as a first job out of college. But once you’ve helped a 1,300-pound cow give birth, wrangling numbers seems tame in comparison.
Brogan Data Analyst Amanda Cook has handled both (her husband’s family owns a dairy farm). By the time she graduated from Michigan State in 2022 with a BA in Marketing, she had also held multiple internships and even launched her own startup selling reversible, sustainable clothing. She got the most out of her internship experiences – you might say she milked them – by tackling everything from website optimization to podcast development to data analysis. When she came to Brogan for one of those internships, her amazing ability to pick up new skills faster than you can say “moo” made hiring her for a permanent position a no-brainer.
Every day, Amanda helps Brogan clients make better decisions by presenting analytics in a clear, easy-to-understand format, and creating data visualizations that illustrate marketing results, demographics, survey data, and more. When she’s not wrangling data, she likes to garden, cook, practice yoga, and tell corny dad jokes until the cows come home.
