Did you use a mobile app today? Was it a financial app? According to eMarketer, roughly 30 percent of financial companies do NOT have a mobile app. That’s like a social platform saying, “We don’t have an algorithm.” Speaking of, Instagram’s algorithm announcement last month topped Search Engine Journal’s social media updates for March. Facebook is elbowing in this month with a new kind of talking head. The social network introduced a new video feature offering a new way to chat with friends. Take a look.

Many financial companies still don’t offer a mobile app. Though more than half (52 percent) of financial executives worldwide said their company offers a mobile app to clients, there are some that still do not, according to January 2016 research.
