Brogan wins four Healthcare Advertising Awards.

Brogan & Partners 05/21/26 - 11:28 am

This year, the Healthcare Advertising Awards received more than 4,300 entries, making it the largest and most widely recognized healthcare advertising competitions in the country. Brogan & Partners is honored to have earned four awards, a gold, silver, bronze, and merit, all for our work with longtime partners, the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services.

  • GOLD: “Everything for the Kids
This firearm safety campaign delivers a powerful reminder: kids get into everything, so it’s up to adults to do everything they can to keep them safe. By moving through everyday, seemingly innocent moments, the campaign highlights how quickly situations can turn tragic when firearms aren’t securely stored, reinforcing the importance of Michigan’s secure storage law.
  • SILVER: “Feeling Off, Follow Up
In Michigan, six out of 10 pregnancy-related deaths are preventable. This campaign for MDHHS and its Maternal Infant Health Program encourages pregnant and postpartum individuals to learn the urgent maternal warning signs, be aware of them, and feel empowered to contact a healthcare provider when something doesn’t feel right, because it could save lives.
  • BRONZE: “The Team Behind the Scenes
Behind the scenes, local and state public health teams are working every day to protect communities and improve quality of life. From mobile clinics and school-based vision and hearing screenings to restaurant inspections and licensing oversight for tattoo parlors, their work is far-reaching. They also safeguard environmental health through water testing in lakes and rivers, inspections of wells and septic systems, and monitoring for mosquitoes and ticks. This campaign helped increase awareness and utilization of these essential public health programs and services, aligning with our clients’ goals.
  • MERIT: “Consumed
Michigan has more providers, treatment options, and medications to support substance use recovery than ever before. Yet too often, the people who need that help most don’t know it exists, or where to find it. In this campaign, we spoke directly to those who feel consumed by substance use, while clearly and compassionately connecting them to resources available across the state.

“We try to create work that doesn’t just inform, but connects, because connection is often the first step toward positive change,” said creative director Laurie Hix. “If even one person sees themselves in these messages and takes action, then the work has done its job.”

As always, we’re grateful to our partners at MDHHS for their trust, and proud of the team members whose work continues to create impact where it matters most.
