BIRMINGHAM, Mich., June 1, 2020 – Brogan President Ellyn Davidson has never aspired to run a big company, but a great one—a business defined by the good it does rather than the profits it makes. Now Forbes Magazine is recognizing Brogan & Partners for choosing greatness over growth, naming the agency to its 2020 list of Small Giants. Brogan is one of 25 American companies that made the Forbes’ fifth-annual Small Giants list.

“Now more than ever, entrepreneurs and small business leaders are grappling with issues that are determining the direction of their business,” said Maneet Ahuja, Forbes’ Entrepreneurs & Small Business Senior Editor. “Our Small Giants list spotlights small business leaders and their companies who are challenging the status quo and using innovative ways to navigate their businesses despite the current circumstances impacting the world.”

The Small Giants award is a partnership between the leading national business publication Forbes and the Small Giants Community, a business enterprise created to identify, connect, and develop purpose-driven leaders. The annual list is designed to identify and celebrate privately owned businesses that have sound business models and steady profits, and also demonstrate distinctive company cultures, as well as commitment to strong client partnerships, industry relations, and community involvement.

Brogan & Partners is a full-service marketing and advertising agency whose clients include the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, HAP, the Michigan Office of Highway Safety Planning, Business Leaders for Michigan, Covenant HealthCare, Cornerstone Community Financial, Frankenmuth Insurance, the Michigan Department of Natural Resources, the Michigan Department of Military and Veteran Affairs, Oakland University and several regional and national non-profits. The agency is particular about its clients, pursuing partners that strive to make people’s lives better. Founded in 1984, the company gives back to the community by donating 5% of its annual revenue to pro-bono and volunteer work, as well as charitable donations.

“We’re incredibly dedicated to our community and focused on making a positive difference in people’s lives,” Davidson said. “Because of our wonderful clients, we are able to influence consumer behavior for the good and connect people to products and services that improve their well-being.”
