Hix began her award-winning advertising career at Brogan as an intern, after almost twenty years in the industry she returns to her roots to lead the creative team. Most recently she worked as a freelance writer through her company, Brainchild.

Hix earned a Bachelor of Art degree in American Studies from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana. She has collaborated with many other Detroit ad agencies, including Campbell-Ewald, Leo Burnett, J. Walter Thompson and Doner on accounts ranging from Chevrolet to Pizza Hut. Her creative work has earned her more than two dozen industry awards. Hix is active in her daughters' school and in their Brownie Troop; she lives in Beverly Hills with her family.
