(Birmingham, Mich., Oct. 1, 2012) — Brogan & Partners’ Media Strategist Jaclyn Schultz of Wyandotte on Saturday was crowned Miss Michigan USA 2013 at ceremonies in Port Huron. Schultz, 24, sought the title after considering how to leverage her advertising education and experience to become a national ambassador for the state.
“As an advertising professional, I have become increasingly aware of the power of communications,” Schultz said. “The Miss Michigan platform will give me a unique opportunity to blend my passion for my work and love of my home state. I’m thrilled to be another positive voice for Michigan.”
Schultz joined Birmingham-based Brogan & Partners in 2010 after earning a bachelor’s of arts degree from Central Michigan University. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in advertising from Michigan State University.
“The Brogan Team is incredibly excited about Jackie’s accomplishment,” said Ellyn Davidson, managing partner for Brogan & Partners. “She is a talented advertising professional and lovely person who will represent our state and industry exceptionally well.”
Schultz was among 70 women who competed for the title of Miss Michigan USA on Sept. 29 at McMorran Theater in Port Huron. She will represent Michigan in the Miss USA 2013 Pageant.
