Agency’s Healthcare Divison Marks 20-year Anniversary
[Birmingham, MI] – For the third consecutive year, Brogan & Partners Convergence Marketing has earned multiple awards – five this year – at the prestigious Healthcare Advertising Awards, including campaigns to brand St. John Health in Metro Detroit and The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati.
Brogan earned similar honors last year for compelling campaigns to protect children from skin cancer, raise awareness for AIDS and communicate the dangers of second-hand smoke.
“These awards reflect two distinct qualities about our agency: first, our commitment to understanding clients inside and out from a 360-degree perspective – and second, a healthcare division that has done nothing but eat, sleep and breathe powerful marketing strategies specifically for hospitals and healthcare for the last 20 years,” said Scott Werner, Brogan’s managing partner.
“We truly make a commitment to understand our clients’ goals, learn their challenges, and study their key audiences – only then can we create compelling campaigns that deliver results,” Werner added.
Brogan received two awards for its efforts to rebrand St. John Health. The agency utilized a high-emotion, storytelling approach to effectively connect the client with key audiences and position the system as the leader in caring for the whole person – body, mind and spirit.
One of the ads produced for St. John Health focuses on raising awareness for the importance of breast cancer screenings – a spot created in support of the brand. To view this ad and other Brogan work, click on the following link: https://www.youtube.com/user/broganhealthcare
Brogan also received two awards for its work with The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati. Brogan’s Healthcare Division developed the first-ever branding campaign for The Christ Hospital, capitalizing on its competitive differentiator of superior clinical results to successfully position the hospital in the Cincinnati market. And for the fifth award, Brogan was recognized for a brand identity and magazine campaign for the American College of Healthcare Executives.
“Marketing challenges for hospitals and the healthcare field are so unique from other industries,” said Julia Shea, Brogan’s partner in charge of the agency’s Healthcare Division. “This is our passion, and we’ve worked tirelessly over the last two decades to develop a strategic approach to healthcare marketing built on a core understanding of the industry, combined with ROI-driven, award-winning campaigns that tell our clients’ stories.”
The annual advertising competition, sponsored by Healthcare Marketing Report, is the largest of its kind with a record 4,400 entries this year. Winners were selected by a national panel of judges based on excellence in advertisement quality, consumer appeal, message effectiveness, graphic design, creativity and overall impact.
