[Birmingham, MI] – Marcie Brogan, founder and chair of Brogan & Partners Convergence Marketing will join seven others being inducted to the International Institute Foundation Heritage Hall of Fame Gallery on Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at the Detroit Marriott Renaissance Center. The Heritage Hall of Fame Dinner recognizes exceptional leaders from various ethnic backgrounds who have made outstanding contributions to the American way of life, demonstrated their commitment to multiculturalism, and generously supported ethnic and cultural traditions.
Brogan, who opened Brogan & Partners 25 years ago, will be honored along with other distinguished Hall of Fame inductees including Richard E. Blouse, Jr., Keith Crain, Linda Bazzi, Amir Denha, Robert A. Ficano, Ted Gatzaros, and Dimitrios Papas. Past inductees have included Dick Purtan, Congressman John D. Dingell, David A. Brandon and Richard P. Kughn. A gallery of honorees is proudly displayed at the second floor atrium of Cobo Center in downtown Detroit.
“I’m honored to be in the great company of the other honorees in the Heritage Gallery,” said Brogan. “I believe that the success of my business has come from my talented partners and co-workers, who reflect the diversity of today’s multicultural America, and some of whom have used the International Institute programs.”
The Heritage Hall of Fame Dinner is a fundraiser for The International Institute Foundation, which raises funds for the International Institute of Metropolitan Detroit (IIMD). IIMD was founded in 1919 by a group of YWCA volunteers who sought to help immigrants learn English, become citizens, be assimilated into their new communities, and to learn to understand each other’s culture.
