Abby Gomos has been promoted to Associate Media Director at Brogan & Partners. Gomos, who is known for extreme efficiency, wasted no time working her way up from media specialist to second in command at the agency’s Media Department. She only arrived at Brogan five years ago with a newly minted bachelor’s degree and a couple internships.
Anyone who works with Gomos gets it, especially Brogan Media Director Becky Robertson.
“Abby started as a media coordinator and quickly built a reputation as a social media expert,” Robertson said. “She is a voracious learner and quick—really, really quick. What’s more, she’s a self-starter who juggles multiple tasks that are delegated to her in lightning speed. (Did I say she was fast?)
“Abby’s been a key part of the media team, and we were thrilled to promote her to Associate Media Director.”
Gomos graduated from Ferris State University with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing. She interned with the Lansing Lugnuts and Michigan First Credit Union before landing her first professional job at Brogan. As Associate Media Director, Gomos is involved with most clients. She thrives under pressure and embraces change. Deadlines rarely see her coming.
“I love working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment,” Gomos said. “Media trends are always changing, so it forces me to stay sharp, constantly learning. I can always count on the fact that two days are rarely the same at Brogan. Every day is different when I log on for work.”
Gomos likes collaborating with others at Brogan and with media partners to identify hard-working tactics to reach consumers.
“It’s both incredibly rewarding and humbling to work with clients to help make a positive impact on society with various media strategies,” she said.
