As a child, Tracey wanted to be a veterinarian. Luckily for us, that didn't work out, and we got to snap her up as the Environmental Health Perspectives journal's senior science production coordinator. Anytime an author or editor needs assistance, Tracey is there. Since August of 2003, Tracey has meticulously managed manuscripts for EHP, from submission through review to the final acceptance of articles, including revisions and online publication. Over the years, she has gained an uncanny skill for communicating with the scientific community, earning her the title of "the Nerd Whisperer."
In her spare time, Tracey continues to pursue her love for animals by volunteering for Coalition to Unchain Dogs and other various rescue organizations. She shares her home with her two canine children: a hound mix named Lucas and a tiny terrier named Zoe.
