Job Description

The Account Service Intern will work closely with our account team to support the day-to-day coordination of agency activities and client contact on one or more accounts. The Account Service Intern will work collaboratively with the strategy, media, design, web and social media teams. The Account Service Intern will report to the Director of Account Service and team. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Research clients' products, services, plans, competitors and target markets
  • Assist in development of the strategy, brief the creative/media teams, and continually work with them to plan and implement the best advertising solutions for the client
  • Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Keep organized client records and files
  • Assist with scheduling and monitoring of social media channels
  • Coordinate distribution of traffic to necessary media outlets in the appropriate format and ensure a timely delivery

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Previous internship or related experience
  • Strong drive to get things done
  • Cheerful & joyful demeanor
  • A clear communicator, in person and writing
  • Strong proofreading  and grammatical skills
  • Highly organized, detail oriented and able to multi task

Brogan & Partners announces associate and seven new hires.

BIRMINGHAM, Mich., Feb. 3, 2017 — Brogan & Partners has named one new associate and several new hires. Ellyn Davidson, president, made the announcement.

Tamra Marinello, corporate support specialist, is the agency’s newest associate. Marinello joined Brogan four years ago. She manages accounts payable and receivable, handles billing and agency logistics.

The new hires are Abigail Wilkins, Abby Meirndorf, Caitlin Muncy, Celeste Cantu, Colleen Lowry, Laura Pryor and Kristin Morris. Pryor, senior copywriter, and Morris, account director, have previously worked for Brogan.

Wilkins, copywriter, comes to Brogan from Know Advertising in Royal Oak. At Brogan, Wilkins writes for various accounts including healthcare, governmental, retail and nonprofit. She is a graduate of the University of Michigan.

Meirndorf comes to Brogan from Michigan First Credit Union where she interned in the marketing department. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Ferris State University.

Muncy joins the agency as art director, producing creative work for various accounts in healthcare, government, financial services and nonprofit. She comes to Brogan from DROUGHT Juice in Royal Oak, where she completed a marketing internship. Muncy is a recent graduate of the College for Creative Studies.

A graduate of Saginaw Valley State University, Cantu joins Brogan as account coordinator. She supports healthcare, financial services and specialty retail accounts.

Lowry comes to the agency as a corporate support specialist with a strong background in property management and purchasing.

BIRMINGHAM, Mich., October 13, 2016 —Woman-owned and managed Brogan & Partners is the new agency of record for Henry Ford Health System. Ellyn Davidson, managing partner for the agency, made the announcement.

Brogan & Partners has been awarded silver and bronze at the 37th Annual Telly Awards and gold at the Summit Creative Awards for their work with Frankenmuth Insurance, Michigan First Credit Union and Michigan Women’s Foundation.

A silver Telly was awarded for the Michigan First Credit Union “Here For You” online video. Bronze awards were given for the Frankenmuth Insurance “Frankly Speaking” anthem online video and “Sunrise” TV spot. Brogan recognized with gold, silver Service Industry Advertising Awards.

Brogan & Partners has been awarded gold and silver Service Industry Advertising Awards (SIAAWARDs) for its work with Frankenmuth Insurance, ComForCare, Franciscan Alliance and Consumers Energy. More than 1,700 entries were received in this year’s competition.

Gold awards were given for “Frankly Speaking,” an anthemic, corporate video for Frankenmuth Insurance, and ComForCare’s brand video “Defying Expectations.” Consumers Energy’s “Genesis of Genius” video to advance STEM careers and an integrated marketing campaign promoting women’s health for Franciscan Alliance won silver awards.

Brogan names associates, new associate creative director.

Brogan & Partners has named four new associates—Katie Rehrauer, Sarah Komar, Mary Edbrooke and Hal Atkins. Deb Wood was also promoted to associate creative director. Ellyn Davidson, managing partner for the full-service marketing agency, made the announcement.

Rehrauer, account director, joined Brogan three years ago from Advantage Waypoint in Farmington Hills. At Brogan, she leads accounts for healthcare, government and nonprofit clients. Clever, tenacious and exceedingly likable, Rehrauer has helped clients raise money, motivate healthy behaviors and enroll in programs by the hundreds of thousands.

Komar, art director, works on various accounts including healthcare, governmental, specialty retail and nonprofit. Her creative design work spans across mediums from video to collateral and digital to social media. Ever curious and dauntless, Komar’s often recognized for exhausting the agency’s coveted values “hunger for success” and “drive to get things done.” This translates into a steady stream of new ways to articulate brand stories.

As the production director for Brogan’s publishing accounts, Edbrooke oversees the entire production team at Brogan’s North Carolina office. She knows the business inside and out, as she has worked in the field in various capacities since 1995. She’s an expert in developing digital publishing workflows and has put her skills to use for agency clients like the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences.

Atkins oversees the publication of more than 50 scientific articles monthly for a federal governmental client and plays an important role as the agency’s web director on publishing accounts. Atkins joined Brogan three years ago after working at Apple. His residency at the tech giant is apparent in his fearless attempts at everyday genius to improve efficiency and user experience for Brogan clients. He has also led the agency’s adoption of new technologies and implemented positive changes in the IT infrastructure.

Wood was promoted to associate creative director for the agency. She joined Brogan four years ago after working for small, prestigious Ann Arbor design firms. But for most of her career she ran her own. She’s worn the hats of account executive, strategist, illustrator, photographer, production manager and programmer. Her conceptual thinking and passion for great design has helped Brogan earn many awards, most recently Best of Show in the D Show.

Brogan & Partners wins Gold ADDYs for Covenant HealthCare campaigns.

Brogan & Partners, one of the state’s leading advertising and marketing agencies, will pick up four Gold ADDY Awards from the American Advertising Federation-Great Lakes Bay Region this month for its work with Covenant HealthCare. A Gold Addy is recognition of the highest level of creative excellence and is judged to be superior to all other entries in the competition.   

Brogan won top honors for four videos spanning three campaigns, promoting the hospital system’s overall brand, as well as its maternity and MedExpress expertise.

Conducted annually by the American Advertising Federation (AAF), the local Ad Club phase is the first of a three-tier, national competition. Gold winners advance to compete at the regional level.

Brogan & Partners wins W³ Marketing Awards.

Brogan & Partners, one of the state’s leading advertising and marketing agencies, has won two silver honors from W³ Awards. The awards recognize Brogan’s recent work with Consumers Energy and the Michigan Women’s Foundation.

The W³ Awards honor creative excellence on the web and are sanctioned and judged by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts, an invitation-only body consisting of top-tier professionals from a "Who's Who" of acclaimed media, interactive, advertising, and marketing firms.

A video produced for Consumers Energy’s Generation Genius Project was recognized with a silver award. The video helps create awareness of the utility company’s work with schools to provide educational initiatives like Michigan FIRST Robotics to inspire the next generation of STEM talent. It features actual robotics students and others as they create, explore and experiment their way through trial, error and success.

Brogan won a silver award for the microsite created for the Michigan Women’s Foundation to promote Enough SAID (Enough Sexual Assault in Detroit). The Foundation developed Enough SAID to raise money for processing untested rape kits, as well as the investigation and prosecution of the forgotten crimes.
