When we say Deb’s "theatrical," we mean it in the nicest possible way. She loves the theater and has acted and sung in several productions. It's her enthusiasm on and off stage that serves her well as an art director, because she can slip into the character of any brand and infuse it with personality. Her own style doesn't get in the way of getting the right look, feel and tone for a client. We’re happy to have her join us full-time after having had her freelance with us for several years.
Before Brogan, Deb worked for small, prestigious Ann Arbor design firms. But for most of her career, she ran her own. So not only is she an award-winning art director with a finely honed level of taste and craftsmanship, she’s worn the hats of account executive, strategist, illustrator, photographer, production manager and programmer. She’s hard to stump. And she excels in all kinds of media from old school design to interactive to social. It’s why clients like The HoneyBaked Ham Company can’t get enough of her. Deb’s creative work has won many national and international awards for excellence and effectiveness.
She has a Bachelor of Arts in graphic design and a minor in marketing from Central Michigan University. She has done additional coursework in digital programming at Washtenaw Community College.
Deb plays tennis, she bikes, and every lunch hour, she walks. She is a rock star. Literally. She sings harmony in a trio and has taken the stage at the Ann Arbor Folk Festival. And her adoring husband and two sons applaud her cooking skills as well.
